Whether you’re a budding Entrepreneur, or a seasoned vet, you’ve probably experienced a time or two when you felt like you were in a rut.
Your Life and business can feel a bit like ground hog day sometimes; doing the same things over and over and feel like you’re not gaining alot of ground.

Take a deep breath, and relax…..It happens to all of us!

Here’s 5 Strategies for More Success & Clarity….

1) Morning Rituals

If your morning ritual consists of hitting the snooze button three times before you get out of bed, take a 5 minute shower, put on some clothes, grab a pop tart, kiss your loved one on the cheek, and peel out of your driveway,
…. something might need to change.

Beginning your day the night before is a great way to jumpstart your morning. Rather than watching re-runs of Seinfeld or viewing the evening news, decide on your goals for the next day. I’ve found that writing out my day, the NIGHT BEFORE has had a huge boost in my production the next day.

Having a healthy breakfast actually fuels your body to start operating at high levels. Rather than grab a pop-tart, or granola bar, start eating a bowl of oatmeal, or some scrambled eggs.   Planning ahead can help you go to bed with a feeling of accomplishment already in place for tomorrow, which will help you sleep better.

2) Financial Habits

It’s not how much you make, its how much you keep that makes all the difference. How’s your spending habits?  Do you spend money on frivolous things, or things that can help your money grow.  I’m not saying you shouldn’t treat yourself to a great 16 oz prime rib, and a beautiful glass of California Cabernet every once in a while.  What I am saying is, being smart with your money, and having your money actually WORK for you, is how high achievers reach financial freedom.

Are you “automating” where and when your money goes, or are you simply leaving it up to your “will power” to take money out to pay off student loans, or start paying down other debt.  Once I started automating my money, everything changed. I started looking at the accumulation of money as a game.  David Bach’s, The Automatic Millionaire is a GREAT book on how to automate your money.

3) Grow Yourself Up

The sad truth is, once they graduate college, with the exception of reading their company’s manuals, the majority of adults never crack another book.
Yet, all high achievers know one way for them to get to where they want to go is through constant personal development.  With the advent of streaming videos, Youtube, Podcasts, MP3 players, books, audio books, and CDs, there’s no reason you can’t “grow” yourself into the person you truly want to become.
Leaders are readers.  What area of your life or business do you want to improve upon?  Sales? Marketing? Leadership….There’s plenty of videos, books, or other resources for you to tap into.

4)  Daily Habits

Your beliefs/thoughts run your habits, your habits create your action, your action (or lack of it) leads to results, your results lead to your income.
Have you ever wanted to do something, got all excited about it, but then you talked yourself out of it?  The reason for that is your habits or old paradigms kicked in.
This is the same reason why you say you want more money, or want to lose more weight, but never seem to get what you really want.
It’s all conditioning.
You can have all the best sales scripts, marketing funnels, or the greatest products or services, but if you don’t change your daily habits, you will stay stuck.

Start out with small changes in your daily habits.  For ex:  maybe you’re used to making 10 outbound sales calls every day.  Rather than saying, “I’m going to start making 50 new sales calls every day”; start out by making 15 new calls tomorrow.
Then next week, make 20 outbound sales calls every day.  Creating new habits isn’t a “quick fix”.  It takes 90 consecutive days to create a new habit.  Start small, and before you know it, you will develop a brand new, powerful way of being.

5)  Recharge the Batteries

From the busy exec to the lean start-up Entrepreneur, everybody needs to take a break from their work.  The last thing you need is burnout.  And here’s how burnout works.  It creeps up on you ever so slightly and slowly, until one day, you can’t stand your work anymore.  Your “passionate” business just turned into more like labor than love.

It’s OK to leave the office early on a Friday, or even take a long weekend once in a while.  It’s been proven that high achievers are more passionate and creative after they’ve given their minds time to relax and refocus.  By spending time with loved ones, or being active in sports or other recreational activities actually increases endorphins in your brain.  The more endorphins released, the better you “feel” about what your doing, and who you’re doing it with!

In the end, we either let our day control us, or we control our day.
Start putting these (5) principles into practice today, and watch your life start
working in ways you’ve always dreamed of.
